SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service sassa status the area on a daily basis. The support place made for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a sassa service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
